Majlis is a party quiz game. We collect as little data as possible — only what the game needs to work.

What we collect

• A device account identifier: one essential cookie, mj_token, that keeps your account without a sign-up.
• What you choose: your display name and avatar.
• Gameplay data: your answers, scores, XP, achievements, daily-challenge results and the questions you have seen (so they don't repeat).
• Purchases: plan, amount, currency, date and discount code, plus the name and email you enter at checkout.
• Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to protect the service from abuse and not stored in your account.

What we don't do

• No ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
• We never sell your data.
• We never ask for your contacts, location, camera or microphone.

Payments

Payments are handled by Tap Payments on their secure page. Card details never reach us. We send Tap the amount and the name and email you entered; Tap's own privacy policy applies to them.

Why we use your data

To run games, save your progress, avoid repeated questions, show leaderboards (display name, avatar and level only), process purchases, and prevent cheating and abuse.

Retention

We keep your data until you delete your account. Purchase records are kept for as long as the law requires, but are detached from your account when you delete it.

Your rights

On the “My profile” page you can edit your name, download a copy of all your data, and permanently delete your account. For any other request, contact us. This covers your rights under data-protection laws such as Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law.

Children

Children can play without giving any personal data. Purchases are for adults only. To remove a child's data, delete the account from their device or contact us.

Local storage

Preferences such as language, sound, quality and the last room you joined are stored on your device. You can clear them in your browser settings.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
